Daniel was born in eastern Nigeria and emigrated to east Texas at a young age where he completed high school and graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in psychology and management in 1991.
In 1992, he moved to Houston to start a career in public service with the State of Texas Health and Human Services. At the inception of his career, he picked the special interest of serving the public with a concentration in the geriatric population. Daniel’s tenure with the state of Texas provided him with opportunities to work in a multicultural environment to interpret and administer various policies and procedures to different demographics in the society. In 2005, driven by his passion to serve and learn, he started taking classes in nursing and earned his license in Vocation Nursing (LVN).
His passion to service drives his self-demand for excellence; this is what brought him to the Abbey. On August 31st, 2021, he concluded his 28 years of serving the great people of Texas; recently serving in an assisted living facility as wellness director in October 2021. He is here to continue to serve and provide second-to-none service. Daniel is enthusiastic about the opportunities at the Abbey, we are forward- bound and he is excited to be part of the team.
He is very fast paced, athletic, likes marathon races, is married for 35 years with 4 grown children and eight grandchildren.
Reach out to him for any questions/concern or ideas on how we can continue to provide excellent service.
