Gerardo Parra

Gerardo Parra is a Maintenance professional with over 14 years of experience supporting luxury retirement and family residential communities. His experience includes areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance maintenance, pool service and hardware installation. Gerardo ensures proper upkeep, per The Abbey’s community standards, of every apartment and also oversees the property grounds. Gerardo is a great fit for The Abbey because of his knowledge in prioritizing requests, multitasking, making cost effective decisions without affecting quality and ensuring timely delivery of work orders, while keeping the safety and living experience of residents as top priority. We appreciate his skills and are happy he joined our exceptional team at The Abbey at Westminster Plaza.

Hazel Smith

Hazel Smith has been devoted to our residents in The Kensington community for almost 16 years since 2005. She runs our Memory Care programs with compassion, patience and lots of love! Her commitment is enhanced with continuing education in dementia and Alzheimer’s disease care and life enrichment. Hazel is a doting grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren. Her family is central in her life, as is her dedication to her faith and her church. We are so grateful to have such a caring staff member in on our Memory Enhancement team.



Karleann Leite

Karleann Leite, Assisted Living Administrative Assistant, was born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She graduated from U.P. Rafael Belloso Chacin with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2020. Karleann moved to the United States in 2021 and brings her eagerness to learn, passion for seniors, and hardworking energy to The Abbey.  Away from work, Karleann loves to sing, spend time in green spaces outdoors, and nature. She is continually growing and learning in her position with The Abbey and strives to serve the residents in their daily lives.


Sahar Hussain

Sahar, Sales and Marketing Director, brings 16 years of Senior living experience to The Abbey. Sahar attended University of Houston with a background in Education. She has two beautiful children and has been married for 17 years.

She began her career working with seniors when she was a freshman in college. Her journey started as a receptionist at an assisted living and memory care community where she volunteered in activities department. She would spend time with the residents and their families engaging them in activities, such as arts and crafts, bingo, and many events.  She became very close to the residents and enjoyed working with seniors so much that she decided to make it her career.

Sahar always enjoys helping seniors and working with them is a calling, passion, and a blessing. Overall, Sahar has many years of experience working with seniors in all levels of care. Her main goal is to make sure her residents get the best care and provide them with the quality of life they deserve every day! As Sales and Marketing Director, she promises to work with the expectations by providing high quality service and resources to help families and their loved ones find a forever home!


Robin Tucker

Robin joins our team with over 20 years of Sales and Marketing experience. Originally from the East Texas area, she and her family moved to Houston in 2004. Robin brings a finely tuned skill set combined with lots of energy and enthusiasm to develop new partnerships and create brand awareness for our community. Her personal interests include prison ministry, fitness training and spending time outdoors with family and their rescue dogs.

Imrai Sanvicente

Imrai Sanvicente graduated from the Superior School of Tourism with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a minor in Culinary Arts and he is now a Certified Assisted Living Administrator.   Imrai has worked under Jeny Knight’s mentoring since 2014, bringing a stellar record of 27 years in the service industry now focused on senior retirement communities. Imrai’s career started as an apprentice at five diamond-five-star hotels in Mexico City, directed mostly by European chefs. Shortly after graduation in the year 2000, he decided to move to the United States where he worked at Arcodoro for Efisio Farris, in the Galleria area. During that time, he met his mentor, Chef Joe Mannke owner/Chef for Rotisserie for Beef and Bird and Bistro Le Cep). Imrai served as the Executive Chef for 13 years at Bistro Le Cep. Imrai’s work has been displayed in local TV segments, newspapers, and magazines. Through his services, Imrai has delighted diners all over Houston. He brings his expertise and passion to The Abbey residents where he will always greet you with a warm smile and a positive attitude. Imrai is father to an amazing son and a precious daughter.


Kaitlan Faubion

Kaitlan, Executive Director, brings more than 15 years of senior living experience to The Abbey. She has worked in all capacities within the senior living industry including operations, sales, care, culinary, owner relations, and acquisitions/dispositions. Kaitlan is a proud Texas A&M alumni, with a bachelors in Business and Communications. Kaitlan is a native Houstonian, from the Sugar Land and Katy area. In her free time, Kaitlan stays busy spending time with her two children and partner, most of it being outside in nature. She is excited to focus her energy at The Abbey to join the amazing team and as well as help maintain the beautiful lifestyle and comforts that our residents are accustomed to.
