Sahar Hussain is a dedicated senior living professional with 19 years of experience in the industry, and her experience and dedication have led her to enhancing the lives of older adults. She began her journey as a part-time concierge at an assisted living community while attending college. What started as a job quickly grew into a passion as she stepped in to support multiple departments, ultimately shaping a fulfilling and long-term career.
Over the years, Sahar has held a wide range of leadership roles, including Business Office Manager, Sales Director, Memory Care Director, Executive Director, and Activities Director. This diverse experience has given her a well-rounded perspective and a deep understanding of operations, resident care, and team leadership within senior living communities.
Sahar previously served as the Marketing Director at The Abbey, where she built strong relationships with residents, families, and professional partners throughout the community. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to return “home” to The Abbey and looks forward to continuing to support the community, residents, and team with her passion and leadership.
With a background in education and hospitality, Sahar brings a thoughtful, service-driven approach to her work, focusing on building strong relationships and creating meaningful experiences for residents and their families.
Outside of her career, Sahar has been happily married for 20 years and is a proud mother of two children. Her commitment to family and caregiving is reflected in both her personal life and her professional mission.
