April in Paris

Abbey residents stepped out in high fashion to celebrate "April in Paris" — their first community-wide event after being vaccinated for COVID-19. At The Abbey at Westminster Plaza's independent living community, 95% of residents and team members had received the vaccine, making gatherings more secure and enjoyable.

Residents danced to the music of saxophonist Arce Avalon Cisneros and had caricatures made by artist Nick Polydoros. Brochette au Poulet, French Connection cocktails, and wine added to the festive atmosphere.

Events like April in Paris are a reminder of why community matters — and why The Abbey has been Houston's home for exceptional senior living for over 70 years.
