Residents of The Abbey at Westminster Plaza's assisted living celebrated Astros' opening day with a backyard celebration of their own. The team acted as base runners while residents took turns at bat for a super-fun afternoon under the Houston sun.

Ice cream treats were passed around for the seventh-inning stretch. With residents vaccinated early that year, they were able to enjoy the spring and summer outdoors — a welcome return to the kind of joyful community gatherings that make The Abbey feel like home.
